Traffic Crash Report Photographs

The Missouri State Highway Patrol, Traffic Division, maintains photograph negatives of motor vehicle crashes that have been investigated by Highway Patrol officers. Not all motor vehicle crash scenes are photographed; however, the crash report will note if photographs were taken and from where they are available. Highway Patrol traffic crash photographs are generally on file at the Traffic Division within 10 to 15 working days from the date of the crash. To inquire on the availability of traffic crash photographs, please contact the Traffic Division at telephone (573) 522-2591. Traffic crash photographs may be requested from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Traffic Division, Post Office Box 568, Jefferson City, Missouri 65102, Attention: Traffic Crash Photographs, or by fax at (573) 751-9921, Attention: Traffic Crash Photographs.
