National Missing Children's Day Poster Contest
The Missouri State Highway Patrol announces the kick off of the National Missing Children's Day Poster
Contest to begin on September 15, 2009. The contest will end on January 13, 2010, National Amber Alert
Awareness Day. Fifth grade students from throughout Missouri are encouraged to participate in the contest.
The theme is "Bring Our Missing Children Home". The first place winner from Missouri will then be entered
into the national contest. The winner of the national contest will be recognized in Washington, D.C., at
the annual Missing Children's Day ceremony in May 2010.
"The Patrol is pleased to be a part of the National Missing Children's Day Poster Contest," said Col. Keathley.
"This is a creative way for children to talk and learn about a serious situation that occurs every day in our
nation."
