DWITS Training: The voluntary DWI Tracking System (DWITS) was implemented in February of 2005 and training is being offered free of charge to all interested criminal justice agencies. Training will begin April 2011 and will be held at MSHP Troop Headquarters across the state. Click here to register
STARS Training: Annual training on the Statewide Traffic Accident Records System (STARS) is being offered to all interested criminal justice agencies that investigate motor vehicle crashes. These are train-the-trainer sessions. The same information will be presented at each session covering the national standards of classification of motor vehicle crashes as well as the reporting requirements of the new Missouri Uniform Crash Report that is scheduled to be implemented January 1, 2012. MoDEx Training: The Missouri Data Exchange (MoDEx) is a statewide data warehouse developed to provide that service to Missouri law enforcement agencies. MoDEx is a powerful automated investigative tool that will provide law enforcement agencies with the ability to search, link, analyze, and share criminal justice information such as incident/case reports, incarceration data, computer aided dispatch, photos, citations, collisions, and pawn data on a statewide basis to a degree never before possible.
