Community-Student Alliance

The Community and Student Alliance are separate programs designed for certain age groups. Each are synonymous with a “Citizen’s Academy” that provide personal interaction between area citizens and the officers. The Community and Student Alliance are designed to allow the public to learn more about the Patrol's purpose and role within the law enforcement community. Sessions include hands-on participation and familiarization of crime scene investigation, traffic stops, firearms, emergency vehicle operations, aircraft, marine operations, and many other aspects of the Patrol. Upon completion of the final session, a distinctive award will be presented to each successful participant. The Community Alliance is designed for adults and the Student Alliance is designed for High School Students. Both programs seek participants who are responsible and willing to commit to a program that provides a unique opportunity.
