There's Been a Traffic Crash. What Should I Do?
- Contact law enforcement for assistance and request EMS if anyone is injured.
- If someone is trapped in a vehicle, there is a fire, the road is blocked, or another danger, communicate the information to law enforcement.
- If no one is injured, move the vehicles off the roadway and to a safe location if possible.
- If someone is injured, do not move the vehicles involved.
- Do not move injured people unless it is necessary for their safety.
