Embedding with WebM and MP4 Source. In order to use HTML5 in the full range of HTML5 browsers, you must encode your video in both MP4 and WebM. Here is an example in which JW Player is setup using both formats. Here is the embed code that is working in IE, Chrome,FireFox but not on Safari. The rtmpt file for Walt Wilson.webm needs to be included to play in FireFox

Working on Chrome and Safari with HTTP link

My Element 5

Chrome needs to have the rtsp file with port 1935 to play. Since the primary rendering mode is set to Flash, the RTMP stream is picked over the MP4. If this option were not set, the JW Player would play the HTTP download, since many browsers (e.g. Chrome, Internet Explorer) support that in HTML5 (the default mode in JW6).
Note the primary option is set to flash here, to prevent the MP4 for getting used in HTML5 in desktop browsers.
