Purchasing Overview

The Missouri State Highway Patrol's Purchasing Section is responsible for the procurement of departmental supplies, equipment, materials, services, etc.

The Purchasing Section solicits bids, awards contracts and initiates purchase orders in accordance with applicable statutes, policies and guidelines. It promotes competitive procurement and encourages the participation and expansion of minority and women owned business enterprises in the procurement process.

Interested vendors must be registered with the State of Missouri at https://www.vendorservices.mo.gov. Questions concerning bids must be directed to the Buyer of Record indicated on the front page of the bid document. All bid responses are subject to Terms and Conditions set forth by the State of Missouri.

The Purchasing Section serves as the division liaison with the Office of Administration (OA), Division of Purchasing and Materials Management (DPMM) for purchases valued annually at $25,000 or greater.
