The mid-western states of Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota and North Dakota are included in the Midwest HIDTA, making it one of the largest HIDTAs in the country.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was active in planning, formation, and implementation of the HIDTA program in the Midwest and Missouri.  The Criminal Investigation Bureau’s Division of Drug and Crime Control continues to be active in all facets of the Midwest HIDTA programs.  The superintendent represents the state of Missouri on the Midwest HIDTA Executive Board, and the Director of the Division of Drug and Crime Control serves on the Missouri Advisory Committee.
