  4. In accordance with Section 610.023, RSMo, public records may be reviewed prior to purchase or copying. In order to review records, a records request will need to be submitted, either online or in writing, and an invoice received to indicate that the Custodian of Records has the documents available, then call 573-526-6167 to set up an appointment. Please have the invoice letter available at the time of the call.
  5. Requests are processed in the order they are received. Some records may take longer than others to process; for example, archived reports (reports that are older than five years), active investigations, or complicated cases that require legal review before release.
  6. Please allow 20 to 30 business days for your request to be processed, due to the volume of requests received. Please do not call to check the status until 30 business days after your request was submitted.
